An avowed generalist, Tom explored various disciplines including Chemical
Engineering, English Literature, Philosophy, Psychology and Secondary Education
before receiving a B.A. in Mathematics from Bard. Recently retired from Empire
State College, Tom uses his time in his two favorite pursuits, writing and
photography.
Tom's writing has appeared in several local publications. His photographs are on display in newspapers, magazines, galleries, homes and offices around
the country and on the web.
He is a founding Member of the Millrock Writers
Collective www.millrockwriters.com, and editor of A Millrock Writers Sampler, published by the company.
Current activity: In addition to his short stories, Tom finished his
novel, Second Cutting, and is now searching for a publisher.

Collective published poems by Steve Lewis, and Tom's photos in a work titled, A Month on a Barrier Island.
Tom is also one of the principal actors in a Play by Larry Winters titled
Nothing
Means Nothing.
